News of the swine flu -- or, as last night's Daily Show brilliantly dubbed it, Snoutbreak -- is coming fast and furious:

Neighbors of a Smithfield Foods factory hog farm in Mexico think it could be the swine flu's ground zero. (AP)

Smithfield strongly denies any connection. (Daily Press)

The United Nations won't even confirm that there's a direct swine-flu link between pigs and humans. (Reuters)

How about some news to get the swine flu off your mind? Oh, look! Another salmonella outbreak! The new culprit? Alfalfa sprouts. (Los Angeles Times)
