A busy week for local restaurant news continues:

In case you missed the news from late yesterday, my colleague Annie Zaleski reports that Carondelet pizza joint, bar and concert venue the Wedge will be closing in two weeks. Food is no longer available. They are just drinking up the bar stock at this point. The Wedge opened only last fall. I reviewed it in January of this year.

Meanwhile, Sauce Magazine reports that Rock Hill wine bar Bella Vita is closing. According to the Bella Vita Web site, the economy is to blame. The wine bar's last day of business is this Saturday, June 27.
