STL Bites: Bill had a posting frenzy with info about his favorite dried pasta, restaurant gripes, starting a blind bacon-tasting club and Brasserie by niche opening for lunch.

Sounding My Barbaric Gulp: Kelly summarized 2009, then made Duck Ragu and Venison Burgers.

A Veggie Venture: Alanna made Quinoa Salad with Zucchini and Lemon.

Cupcake Project: Stef's giving away a cupcake necklace and made Mudslide Cupcakes with Irish Cream Whipped Cream from homemade booze.

FamilyStyle Food: Karen shared her favorite wines of '09.

Iron Stef: Stef reviewed her year.

One Hot Stove: Nupur finished the recipe marathon.

Show Me Vegan: Lisa slow-cooked Curried Vegetable and Chickpea Stew.

St. Louis Eats and Drinks: The Pollacks visited Mango and spent the holidays in New York City.

STL Hops: Mike had news of a cask at The Good Pie, the availability of the Schlafly/O'Fallon/New Albanian collaborative brew, beer resolutions and the beer year in pictures.

The Cheesemonger's Wife: Annie shared info about Kunik.

Beer Wine and Whisky: Dave visited New Glarus and summarized the bottles he drank in 2009.

Sauce covered Lola's opening, Terrace View's brunch addition, the returns of Chez Leon and Ozzie's, and upcoming chicken-raising classes.

Feast: George summed up the year, shared info on Clayton's first Restaurant Week, the addition of 222 Artisan Bakery's pastry and Goshen Coffee and the CWE Pi, Red L Pizza's tiny opening and Kevin Willmann's move to St. Louis.

Slow Food St. Louis is offering an urban homesteading series.   

STL Meal Deals: Karin had offers from Fleming's and a slew of coupons for January.
