Sometimes, you can't do much better than a good sandwich and a cup of tasty soup. This week, I review Sammy Scott's, a new fast-casual restaurant at 12766 Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur.

Curious -- but not ready to commit? Jennifer Silverberg's Back of the House slideshow highlights some of the tasty fare as well as the restaurant's, um, interesting décor.

The Caprese sandwich is shown here on the fresh-baked multi-grain bread. The sandwich is made with fresh mozzarella and tomato with red onions and pesto. The sandwich is then pressed and is ready to go. View the full slideshow here. - PHOTO: JENNIFER SILVERBERG

1.The BBQ Chicken wrap (which you can also order sans wrap and as a salad) is made with house roasted chicken with mixed greens, cheddar cheese, roasted corn, cilantro, red onions, tomatoes, avocado, crispy tortilla strips and buttermilk ranch dressing.
