The seed company everybody loves to hate will roll its "mobile technology unit" into Wentzville next week for three days of plant-breeding and other demos.

The 53-footer "semi truck on steroids," as one Monsanto employee terms it, travels the country trying to sow interest in St. Louis-based Monsanto's corn, soybean and many other seeds produced through ultra-high-tech plant breeding.

The truck will be parked at The Home Depot in Wentzville from 10 am - 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday of next week, and is open to one and all, future farmers and general public alike (though presumably not protestors).
