Restaurant Roll Call: April 2010 Openings and Closings

April is synonymous with new beginnings: Spring is underway, baseball returns and, in St. Louis, new restaurants extend their fragile buds toward the warming light of patio season.

Or something like that.

Several new restaurants debuted this month, including -- fittingly enough -- the new downtown location of Ozzie's Restaurant & Sports Bar, the grand opening of which Gut Check crashed, gaining a picture of the beaming Wizard of Oz himself.

Mojo Tapas Restaurant & Bar, 3117 South Grand Boulevard
Ozzie's Restaurant & Sports Bar, 1511 Washington Avenue
P'sghetti's, 10012 Manchester Road [Second Location]

Closings

Artisan Caffé, 2743 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood
Modai Sushi Lounge, 6100 Delmar Boulevard

Demolished by Cadillac

Cup of Sno, Big Bend Boulevard at Deer Creek Center, Maplewood
