Eat Me Daily reports that a new world record in pickled jalapeno eating was set last weekend by some poor fool willing do down 275 of the vinegar heat bombs during double overtime. But he's a professional eater. The amateur record stands at 73.

Coors is no longer the official beer of the NFL. Bud Light is. "'The NFL is the biggest, most watched sport in North America, and we are proud for Bud Light, the world's best selling beer, to be the league's official beer sponsor,' Anheuser-Busch, Inc., president Dave Peacock said", according to USA Today. The deal, announced Tuesday, allows Bud Light products to carry the NFL's logo.

First the Double Down. Now, the world! KFC's planning an invasion of France, via television advertising and a plan to open 100 stores in the next five years. The Wall Street Journal says that American fast food hasn't fared well in food-centric France. McDonald's has a presence, but Burger King took their French fries and came home in 1997 due to lack of business.
