British Farmers Go Hip-Hop for U.K. Foods

Posted By on Wed, Oct 27, 2010 at 2:40 PM

Today Slashfood shared an ad for Yeo Valley (pronounced, conveniently enough, "Yo Valley") Organics that's currently running in the U.K.

It features rapping hipster farmers, tricked-out tractor hood ornaments and chugging milk like it's Cristal.

And it ain't merely advertising irony! A quick YouTube search yields Braincell Harmonics, a hip-hop artist from middle-of-nowhere Stropshire, who raps about the joys of downhome English food production in "We Make Hay."

Check out the videos after the jump.
