Chances are, you've already stocked up on ground beef and condoms and aren't planning on leaving the house during Snowpocalypse 2011.

However, there are always a few brave or foolish enough to want to venture out, and restaurants (whether deserved or not) have a reputation for remaining open no matter what. If you want to visit a particular restaurant, the best advice is, of course, to call ahead first.

If you want to get a sense of who is open and who is closed, be sure to follow Gut Check on Twitter @gutcheckstl. Several area restaurants have already tweeted that they are closed, and a few have tweeted that they are, in fact, still open, and we're retweeting these announcements whenever we see them.
