Cheap Trick, Mariachis, and Hornitos Tequila Rock Out Cinco de Mayo

Posted By on Thu, May 5, 2011 at 4:00 PM

For your Cinco de Mayo drinking and rocking pleasure, Midwestern classic rock heroes Cheap Trick have mashed up their ode to parental perversion, "Surrender" with a mariachi band.

You can thank the fine folks at Hornitos Tequila for thinking this was an awesome way to promote their Make a Mashup contest. They're asking bands to mash up their music with mariachis for a chance to win $10,000

Mariachi-fied "Surrender" is just like Cinco de Mayo - slightly Mexican in flavor, but all about good ol' American debauchery. And drinking tequila straight from the bottle.
