LouFest Announces 2011 "Nosh Pit" Eats

Posted By on Mon, May 9, 2011 at 7:00 AM

We know. You expect to read the latest on this year's LouFest from Kiernan and his A to Z staff. But Gut Check couldn't help but let you know about the food that will be available in the music festival's "Nosh Pit" when it returns on August 27 and 28 this year.

Among those slated to participate are restaurants Atomic Cowboy, El Borracho, Entre: Underground, Herbie's Vintage 72, Hwy 61 Roadhouse & Kitchen, Nora's and Pappy's Smokehouse.

(The inclusion of Pappy's raises the possibility that there might be a line longer than the one for free water at last year's LouFest.)

Food trucks and festivals are natural find, at LouFest you'll find Cha Cha Chow, Holy Crepe!, Mangia Mobile and Pi on the Spot.

For the complete list of vendors, visit the LouFest website.
