Our story so far: Blue Ocean Sushi, the all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant at 609 Eastgate Avenue, just off the Delmar Loop, took over Loop mainstay Seki, located a few blocks west at 6335 Delmar Boulevard.

At the end of May, Seki's name was changed to...Blue Ocean Sushi, giving the Loop two locations of the same restaurant. Owner A.K. told Gut Check the two locations would have different menus, with the new location combining Blue Ocean Sushi's approach with Seki's.

Now, perhaps unsurprisingly, there is once again only one Blue Ocean Sushi in the Delmar Loop. Signs in the window of the original location on Eastgate direct customers to the former Seki's address.

What to expect at the new-old (old-new?) Blue Ocean Sushi? You're in luck: Danielle Leszcz filed a "First Look" at Blue Ocean Sushi for Gut Check just two days ago.
