Six Cartoon Cooking Lessons That Are Better Than Martha Stewart's

Posted By on Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 9:00 AM

Because Martha Stewart doesn't have enough shows, she's producing an online cartoon featuring a ten-year-old Martha Stewart. The 26 episodes will be available on AOLKids.

Of course, young Martha and her friends cook. Probably better than you.

If young Martha and her childhood friends were so unsupervised that they were left alone to cook their meals over a fire pit, well, that would explain a lot, wouldn't it?

Martha's not the first to take to cartoon form to teach kids to cook. Maybe she'll be more effective than these past efforts.

The Beatles were too fat in their cartoon, so they crashed a French cooking school. Because they're the Beatles and they have no money, so they need free food. It could have happened. Of course there's a sing-for-your-supper pun.

Queen wasn't any better in the kitchen than the Beatles.

No wonder Popeye stuck to canned spinach, considering his bad luck with simple picnic items. At least Roger Rabbit tried to keep an infant from bursting into flames.

Mr. Bean will make kids never, ever eat turkey again.

Donald Duck's just as skilled and controlling as Martha Stewart. You know she would have fed her friends a rubber-cement pancake if they pissed her off.
