This week, as part of a look at several "better burger" restaurants, I reviewed the first St. Louis-area location of the rapidly growing chain Smashburger (1981 Zumbehl Road, Chesterfield; 636-724-6777). When Smashburger announced its arrival in our market this summer, the company noted that a second location would debut in Chesterfield this fall.

Now, thanks to an eagle-eyed regular reader, we know exactly where that second location will be: 1671 Clarkson Road. That places the restaurant in the same shopping plaza as Momoyama and a Trader Joe's, among other businesses. No word on an exact opening date yet.
