Where to Eat on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Posted By on Thu, Dec 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM

For some folks, Christmas is a day of mandatory family time in celebration of some cool old cat's birthday, and for others, it's an ever-annoying nuisance that means little to them except that there's nothing to do. But there's one thing we all have in common: We gotta eat.

-Demun Oyster Bar is open Christmas eve, 5 p.m.-midnight. Open Christmas day at 7 p.m., bar only.

-All Pi locations are open on Christmas Eve, and the Delmar location opens at 1 p.m. Christmas Day.

-Local Harvest is open Christmas Eve for brunch, closing at 2 p.m.

-Salume Beddu is open Christmas Eve 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.

-Duff's will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner till 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

-Cheese-ology Macaroni & Cheese is open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve, and will be closed Christmas Day. Take-and-Bake Party Trays are available.

-Blueberry Hill is open every day of the year.

-Lu Lu Seafood will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

-Companion bakeries in Clayton and Ladue will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

-Annie Gunn's will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

-Home Wine Kitchen will be open for brunch on Christmas Eve, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

-Truffles will be open from 5-8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

-Sunset 44 Bistro will be open Christmas Eve for dinner from 4-8 p.m.

Restaurants: If you're open on Christmas Eve or Day (or New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, while we're at it) please leave your hours in the comments and feel free to e-mail us. Thanks!
