- Gut Check first learned in November that the Fort Worth, Texas-based chain Fuzzy's Taco Shop would open its first area location at 8073 Watson Road in Webster Groves. The restaurant opened its doors officially this past weekend. Its regular hours are from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 7 a.m.-midnight Thursday through Saturday. Yes, those hours mean you can get breakfast at Fuzzy's. For more info, check out the restaurant's Facebook page.

- Tomorrow is National Pancake Day, and IHOP is celebrating by offering a FREE short stack of pancakes -- you see, kiddies, the P in IHOP used to be spelled out as pancakes -- from 7 a.m. till 10 p.m. at participating locations. The restaurant asks only that you make a donation to Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital. During last year's National Pancake Day, IHOP reports that it gave out more than 4 million free pancakes and raised $2.5 million for charity (or, um, 62.5 cents per pancake.)
