Earthquakes on Sunday, May 20, and Tuesday, May 29, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy have killed at least 24. That region is close to the hearts of Jim Fiala and Adam Gnau, owner and chef, respectively, of Acero (7266 Manchester Road, Maplewood; 314-644-1790), and this Saturday, June 2, the restaurant will host a special prix-fixe dinner to benefit earthquake-relief efforts in Italy.

The dinner will feature four courses for $40 per person, with $10 of that donated to earthquake-relief efforts. A $30 wine-pairing supplement is also available, with a portion of that cost also going toward the relief donations. The restaurant will accept additional donations. Acero recommends reservations for this dinner.

4th: Affogato or Panna Cotta or Biscotti
