Ten Best Food Events This Weekend: June 8-10

Friday (June 8):

Food Truck Friday @ Tower Grove Park Head to the southwest side of Tower Grove Park for a monthly congregation of food trucks and foodies. Free admission. 5 to 8 p.m.

Saturday (June 9):

St. Vincent Greenway Ferguson Farmers' Market Bicycle Ride @ St. Vincent Park Bike the trails of the St. Vincent Greenway and Ted Jones Trail through Ferguson, and find fresh fruit and more at the Ferguson Farmers' Market, with a bike blender on hand for free smoothies. $5 for adults. $3 for children 10 and under. 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Moonrise Kingdom Brunch @ Lola Enjoy a la carte brunch along with drink specials and movie giveaways for director Wes Anderson's latest flick. 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

St. Louis Pagan Picnic @ Tower Grove Park Enjoy live music, entertainment and plenty of food vendors, along with an event schedule including everything from yoga and dance lessons to speakers and workshops. Free admission. Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Share the Buzz @ Whole Foods Market-Town & Country Three Rivers Beekeeper discuss the importance of honey bees and beekeepers to our food supply. See beekeeping equipment and a live hive and sample raspberry beet salad sweetened with honey from the prepared foods department. Free. Noon to 3 p.m.

Green Tie Affair @ The Green Center Enjoy cocktails and canapes at this event to benefit The Green Center, featuring food and drink from Mad Tomato, Urban Chestnut and more. $25 to $40. 5:30 to 8 p.m.

International Cheese, Wine & Canine Festival @ Purina Event Center; Gray Summit, MO Get to know more than 35 different breeds of dogs in person while sampling an international selection of wines, cheeses and snacks. $30 per person at the door - includes tasting ticket book for ten wine samples, one full glass of your favorite wine, a keepsake wine glass and unlimited soft drinks. 6 to 10 p.m.

Third Annual Silent Auction and Wine Tasting @ The Chapel Sample wine and bid on art to benefit Isaiah 58 Ministries Food Pantry. Tickets are $10 per person. 7 to 9 p.m.

Sunday (June 10):

Small Plates Sunday Brunch @ Urban Eats Cafe Stuffed french toast, steamed Asian buns with barbecue pork, southwest chicken flatbread and more get delivered to tables by cart. Take your pick of plates over live music and an art opening. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lebanese Culture @ Kitchen Conservatory This hands-on class covers dishes such as hummus, kibbe synee, tabouli salad and baklava. $55 per person. Register online via the Kitchen Conservatory website. 12:30 to 3 p.m.
