Friday (Nov. 16):

Third Friday Open House @ Third Degree Glass Factory Flavors at this month's open house event include pumpkin martinis and eats from food trucks Pi On the Spot and Sarah's Cake Shop. Admission is free. 6 to 10 p.m.

Around the World Wine Dinner @ Missouri Botanical Garden Transport tastebuds to Greece with a four-course menu and wine pairings prepared by Catering St. Louis. The menu includes olive-oil poached salmon with herbs, moussaka with ground lamb and more. $58 per person. Call 314-577-0200 for reservations. 6:30 p.m.

Autumn Wine Dinner @ Soulard's Restaurant & Bar Indulge in a four course meal with wine pairings featuring the likes of lobster bisque, pancetta encrusted beef tenderloin, chocolate pie and more. $89 per person (tax and gratuity included), with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Haunted Hunter @ Lemp Mansion Restaurant & Inn Catch this murder mystery dinner show in its final week with a dinner of soup, salad, chicken with vegetable and potato, wine, dessert and coffee/tea. $48.95 per person. Saturday (Nov. 17):

Thanksgiving Sampling @ Whole Foods Market-Town and Country Sample an assortment of items from Whole Foods' holiday menu in the Prepared Foods department. Free. Noon to 4 p.m.

Vermeil Wines Tasting and Bottle Signing @ St. Louis Wine Market and Tasting Room Meet Super Bowl-winning coach and winemaker Dick Vermeil and sample his Vermeil Wines. Free. Noon to 4 p.m.

Holiday Fare Wine Trail @ Hermann Wine Trail Sample seven pairings with small dishes and desserts. Options include holiday apple crisp paired with Bias Winery 's spiced "Apple Weisser Flieder," winter gumbo paired with Robller Vineyard's Norton and a three mushroom tartlet paired with Hermannhof Chambourcin. Sunday (Nov. 18):

10th Annual Fair Trade Market @ Manchester United Methodist Church Shop through more than 2500 square feet of fair trade goods from artisans, farmers and crafters. Saturday Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

17th Annual Unique Boutique @ John Burroughs School Get baked goods, fine art, gifts and more at this annual market. Admission is $5. Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Macaron and Macaroon Mania @ Kitchen Conservatory Learn how to make gingerbread spiced macarons with whipped cream cheese, caramel apple macarons, cinnamon spiced macarons with pumpkin buttercream, and American macaroons sandwiched with whipped ganache in this hands-on class. $55 per person. Register online via the Kitchen Conservatory website. 1 to 3:30 p.m.
