Kellogg's Recalls Special K for Possible Glass Fragments

OK, seriously, this would be laughable if it didn't involve, you know, things like glass and wire in what we eat. Yes, yet another food is being recalled due to the possible presence of foreign objects.

Kellogg's has announced a voluntary recall of its Special K Red Berries cereal due to the risk that it might contain glass fragments.

Specifically, Kellogg's has recalled packages of Special K Red Berries cereal that fits the following criteria:

(Please note that the dates of the recalled package include a range of times.)

- the 11.2-ounce package with the UPC code 38000 59923 and a "Better If Used Before" date range of DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 00:13 through DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 02:30

- the 22.4-ounce twin-pack package with the UPC code 38000 78356 and a "Better If Used Before" date range of either NOV 30 2013 KNA 105 07:00 to NOV 30 2013 KNA 105 08:51 or NOV 30 2013 KNB 105 15:00 to NOV 30 KNB 105 17:05

- the 37-ounce package with the UPC Code 38000 20940 and a "Better If Used Before" date range of NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 17:31 to NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 20:05.
