- A regular reader tipped me off to a new Vietnamese restaurant. Permanent signage is up at the former China Inn at 9737 Manchester Road in Rock Hill announcing Mi Linh. You can't see it very well in the photo above, but the sign includes noodles being lifted from a bowl -- of pho, perhaps? -- with a pair of chopsticks.

Not much more to report on Mi Linh at the moment. The restaurant is registered with the Missouri Secretary of State's office to a Dee Dee Tran. Work on the interior of the restaurant appears to be ongoing. More as we learn it.

- Barrister's (15 North Meramec Avenue, Clayton; 314-726-5007), the gastropub from Adam and Jason Tilford of Milagro Modern Mexican and Mission Taco Joint, is moving. George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine had the scoop that Barrister's will move to 7923 Forsyth Boulevard. The space, formerly occupied by the Italian restaurant Mazara, will be right next-door to the new restaurant from Nick and Audra Luedde, with Josh Galliano in the kitchen, The Libertine.
