If ever you needed a good excuse to drink, this is probably it.

This Sunday, May 19, Circle of Concern, an organization that feeds the hungry and provides assistance to low-income families in western St. Louis County, will host an event it's calling Amazing Taste. At the event guests will be able to taste more than 600 unique wines, beers and spirits from at least 90 vendors partnered with Lukas Liquor Superstore.

Wine, beer, spirits and helping others. Call Gut Check philanthropic, 'cause we're in!

The event takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. at Wildwood Town Center Plaza (221 Plaza Drive, Wildwood; 636-458-0440).

General admission tickets are $35, and you must be 21 or older to attend. For $60, you can get a VIP ticket to taste top-shelf liquors.

The ticket price includes a complimentary barbecue lunch and live music, as well as the opportunity to bid on items at a silent auction. Amazing Taste is also hosting a mixology contest featuring local bartenders, which is sure to get the crowd riled up.

The list of all the beverages that are being sampled can be found online. It's fifteen pages long.
