"Dave Matthews has dedicated a great deal of time and effort to supporting local and sustainable family farms, as he sits on the board of directors for Farm Aid," Ewer said in a press release. "It's exciting to see him support the local food movement while on tour, helping to keep family farmers on the land, growing food we can all enjoy."

Earlier this month, DMB paired with a similar company in New York, Rustic Roots Delivery, while touring throughout the state. The band hasn't always had such a good relationship with food -- in case you forgot, they were once sued for allegedly dumping around 800 pounds of shit from their tour bus on some unsuspecting Chicagoans out for a boat ride. We're guessing organic and natural produce causes a less prolific output. Dave himself has an organic farm outside of Charlottesville, Virigina, that provides grass-fed beef to several Charlottesville and Richmond restaurants.

Dave Matthews Band will play tomorrow night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (I-70 and Earth City Expressway, Maryland Heights, 314-298-9944) with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Click here for more information on Green BEAN Delivery and Missouri farms.
