Jimmy Fallon Visits Crown Candy Kitchen

Posted By on Tue, Oct 15, 2013 at 11:15 AM

Comedian and future Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon was in town last night for the first leg of his "Clean Cut" tour, and hey, guy's gotta eat, right?

So he went classic St. Louis and had lunch at Crown Candy Kitchen (1401 St. Louis Avenue; 314-621-9650).

We're dying to know what he thought, but more importantly -- especially now that he and Jimmy Kimmel will be rivals in the world of late night -- WHAT DOES HE THINK OF IMO'S?!

Fallon stopped by KSDK-TV (Channel 5) yesterday afternoon and mentioned he lives for BLTs and would be stopping by Crown Candy (not much of a milkshake drinker, however). Here is the clip:

Here's what we know about his experience from his caption on that Instagram: "Thank you St. Louis!!! First night of Clean Cut Tour - so fun!! Great city."

Gut Check called Crown Candy to see if anyone there actually served Jay Leno's replacement yesterday and can tell us about it -- we'll update if we hear anything.

We also reached out to Fallon (through Twitter) to see if he'll weigh in on the Imo's debate. C'mon, Jimmy! We need a late-night champion against the evil forces of Jim-O's. We'll update you just as soon as he gets back to us on that offer.
