WINNER: St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (1765 Charbonier Road, Florissant; 314-837-3165). St. Ferdinand actually operates its fish fry year round and has been going strong for 61 years. It started out as a parish fundraiser and grew into a weekly event with dozens of volunteers. As the church says, "it is worth the drive and worth the wait."
