We're pretty into barbecue and beer over here at Gut Check World Headquarters, and St. Louis is too. For the first time ever, we're throwing a festival celebrating two of our best exports at the Q and Brew in the Lou.

It will be held on August 23, indoors, at the St. Louis Union Station South Plaza. There will be several local breweries and three of your favorite barbecue masters serving up the good stuff.

For beer, come try 4 Hands Brewing Company, Alpha Brewing Company, Cathedral Square Brewery, Exit 6 Pub and Brewery, Ferguson Brewing Company, Griesedieck Brothers Beer, Morgan Street Brewery, Six Row Brewing Company, Urban Chestnut Brewing Company and Schlafly. There are even more breweries to be announced.

The barbecue will be provided by Sugarfire Smokehouse, the Rib Shack and Bully's Smokehouse.

Our presale starts Thursday, June 25, to give our loyal readers a chance to buy tickets before the general public. General admission is $25, and VIP is $55. We'll update next week when the link is live. See you there!
