Believe it or not, there's snow in the forecast for this weekend. Snow. We haven't quite come to terms with it, so we've come up with plenty of delicious weekend activities to keep us occupied. Continue on for our food-related recommendations.

Friday (Nov. 14):

Top of the Met Gourmet Wine Dinner @ Kemoll's Italian Restaurant

Kemoll's Italian Restaurant is pairing with Garland Wines to bring you a gourmet, five-course dinner with wine pairings. Begin with roasted peppadew peppers paired with Chateau Peyrechet, followed by nectarine and arugula salad with Monmousseau Vouvray. For the third course, it's Moroccan mussels and clams paired with Chateau du Poyet Muscadet, then grilled filet mignon paired with Chateau du Scour Lot and Hyatt Merlot. For dessert, it's creme brulee cheesecake paired with Kopke Port. Doors open at 7, and dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $80 per person, which includes wine, parking and gratuity; reservations available here.

Missouri Botanical Garden's Green Ball @ Moonrise Hotel

The Missouri Botanical Garden's Green Ball is "green" in every sense of the world. Dress in your best green formalwear and sip on creative cocktails, beer and wine, eat locally sourced food and dance the night away to Miss Jubilee. There will even be a costume contest for creative green attire. From 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $50.

Saturday (Nov. 15):

Holiday Fare Wine Trial @ Hermann Wine Trail

The Hermann Wine Trail (a handful of wineries) is stepping things up a notch for the holidays. Get a head start on your shopping with bottles from your favorite vintners. There will be food and wine pairings along the "trail" from seven Hermann wineries. Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 and include a souvenir wine glass, available here.

Lost + F(o)und, A Benefit for Perennial @ Centene Center for Arts and Education

This county-fair-inspired event benefits Perennial -- not the brewery, but a local nonprofit that teaches people to repurpose discarded items and DIY projects instead of creating more waste. There will be homemade pie, local food, wine and craft beer, plus raffles, auctions, live music and even an upcycled craft station. From 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door and $20 in advance, available here.

Sunday (Nov. 16):

SALO Filipino Pop-up @ Winslow's Home

Salo Series is a Filipino pop-up dinner that is hosting meals all across the country -- all 50 states, to be exact. Tonight, Salo will feature dishes from Guerrilla Street Food and Skip to Malou, with beer pairings from Urban Chestnut, hosted at Winslow's Home. From 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. 8th Annual Gingerbread House Contest Fundraiser @ Saint Louis Galleria

Come check out these edible (in theory) works of art from professional, amateur and high school chefs. Vote for your favorite by making a donation. Proceeds will go to Lydia's House, which provides transitional housing for battered and abused women and children. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free.

Kitchen Kulture Brunch @ Sump Coffee

This Sunday, Sump is kicking of its first (ongoing) brunch with Kitchen Kulture. There will, of course, be coffee from Sump, a local and gourmet brunch from Kitchen Kulture and pastries from Pint Size Bakery. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
