It seems this is another case of everyone else realizing what we already know: St. Louis is awesome. Livability's annual list of the ten best beer cities in the U.S. ranks St. Louis at no. 7. The top city is Bend, Oregon.

We know that Denver and the West Coast have had booming craft beer scenes longer than St. Louis, but Albuquerque? Tampa? Come on. We're the beer town.

Livability looked at the number of award-winning craft breweries and beers created, plus if people were drinking more craft beer than the national average and less "macro-brews" than average. The study also looked at the city's reputation as a beer town, overall livability (that may have hurt us) and "a shot of our editor's own experiences with the towns and their brews."

We still say we were robbed. Here's the top ten list:

1. Bend, Oregon 2. Denver, Colorado 3. San Diego, California 4. Albuquerque, New Mexico 5. Tampa, Florida 6. Grand Rapids, Michigan 7. St. Louis, Missouri 8. Bellingham, Washington 9. Hershey, Pennsylvania 10. Billings, Montana
