Monday (Dec. 15):

Lobster Master @ Kitchen Conservatory

There's a reason the Peacemaker has been so well received: lobster is the ultimate. For whatever reason, people see it as too difficult to cook at home a lot of times (all that shell cracking?). Kitchen Conservatory is here to help. In this hands-on class, learn to make petite lobster rolls with boursin and chives, lobster shepherd's pie, lobster fritters with tamarind chutney and semolina cannelloni with lobster and leek butter. From 6 to 8:30 p.m. Registration is $70; sign up here.

Tuesday (Dec. 16):

International Supper Club @ Cafe Natasha

Anybody can be a part of the International Supper Club, which visits restaurants all over St. Louis. This week, Cafe Natasha is hosting, complete with a white elephant gift exchange. You just have to be a Yelp member with a real photo and name. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. RSVP here -- everyone pays for their own checks at the dinner.

Wednesday (Dec. 17):

Cooking Class @ Schnucks Cooks

This month's cooking class centers around the Persian pomegranate and lamb meatball soup. You'll make, in addition to the soup, shirazi salad, jeweled rice and saffron ice cream with pistachios. From 6 to 9 p.m. Registration is $40 per person; sign up here.

Thursday (Dec. 18):

Moms and Mimosas Snowman's Bliss @ Pinot's Palette Chesterfield

Take advantage of your last few days of freedom before the kids get out of school for the holidays. Paint a blissful snowman while enjoying a complimentary mimosa. From 10 a.m. to noon. Registration is $35 per person; sign up here.
