Forget pumpkin spice lattes. (It's January, so hopefully you have). Kaldi's Coffee now has fresh mint lattes, among other new menu items to help you get through the remaining winter months.

Kaldi's is also debuting the "Winter Breakfast Tea" latte, made with black tea, steamed milk, orange, cinnamon and allspice, among other things. We'll take anything that combines the power of tea and coffee.

The fresh mint latte is made with Kaldi's Espresso 700, steamed milk and housemade mint simple syrup. Another new drink is the fresh mint toddy, which is made with cold-brewed toddy coffee and shaken with the mint simple syrup, milk and ice.

There are new eats, too. The "Wedding Cake Cookie," which Kaldi's calls a Kansas City favorite, is a five-inch sugar cookie with buttercream icing. There's also a hand-dipped heart sugar cookie (Valentine's Day, anyone?) and a cherry cream cheese danish -- flaky puff pastry wraps up cherry filling and cream cheese.
