A Los Angeles craft brewery is taking the leap and joining the already crowded market here in St. Louis. The Dudes' Brewing Company has made a deal with local distributor Major Brands and will debut at least three beers at select stores. We're pretty sure "The Dudes" is the most Southern California name ever by the way.

We'll be getting the Double Trunk double IPA, Grandma's Pecan "Midwest-inspired" brown ale and South Bay Session American IPA. Two of the founders are from the Midwest, which they say is behind their expansion to Kansas City and St. Louis.

"We're just a couple of Midwest guys wanting to share our Midwest values through our West Coast influence," said co-founder Toby Humes in a statement. "Quality in every can, every time. That's The Dudes' way." The brewery has a 30-barrel automated production brewery in Torrance, California, plus a tasting room. "The Dudes" will be visiting St. Louis this month to introduce us to their laid-back brews.

Catch them at iTap Soulard tonight, the Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton tomorrow night, plus 28/65 Brewhouse in St. Charles. The Dudes Brewing Company will be available at the Craft Beer Cellar, Friar Tuck's, Lukas Liquor, Randall's and select Schnucks.

Follow the Dudes on Facebook, Twitter or Untappd for updates on their whereabouts this week and to learn more about the brewery.

"We strive to infuse our brews with the beach-going lifestyle and laid-back attitude of Southern California," vice president of sales Scott Shaw said. "Happy people make good beer. Good beer makes people happy."
