Cat Cafe May Have Competition

With the announcement that Mauhaus Cat Cafe and Lounge, St. Louis' first cat cafe, will open next year, a number of local entrepreneurs and restaurateurs are considering similar concepts.

These are still on the drawing board -- keep an eye out for future announcements.

New York Subway Shoppe Subs and gyros are planned for this "authentic" New York-themed restaurant. As soon as the Shoppe passes its health inspection, the owners plan to release their oversize pet rat to complete the New York subway atmosphere.
