Winners from UPC Heartland Wing Ding

Twenty local restaurants fired up the grills, smokers, fryers and ovens last night for Heartland United Cerebral Palsy's Wing Ding event at Queeny Park. 

The organization estimates it raised $35,000 from about 1,500 guests. Sugarfire Smokehouse and St. Louis Wing Co. took home the most hardware.

Here is the complete list of winners:


1st – The Kitchen Sink

2nd – Joe Buck’s

3rd – Winfield’s Gathering Place



1st – Sugarfire Smokehouse – loaded potato skin stuffed wings wrapped in bacon with ranch sour cream

2nd – St. Louis Wing Co. – Miso Horny: Bacon wrapped wing with miso glaze with wasabi and sriracha aioli, and spicy soy glaze.

3rd – Three Kings Public House – Chicken & Waffles with Bacon Jam and Maple Syrup


Dry Rubbed

3rd – St. Louis Wing Co.
