If you're a cookie lover and you live — or work — near downtown, here's some good news for you.

Insomnia Cookies opened its third St. Louis location today at 1136 Washington Avenue. It joins sister shops in the Loop and the Central West End. And that means fresh-baked cookies available seven days a week for both pickup and delivery.

That's not just downtown. The new location will also deliver to locations including Soulard and Lafayette Square.

Shop hours at this new location vary. Delivery hours begin at noon on the weekends and 10 a.m. on weekdays, with pickup hours beginning one hour before that. Make sure to check the website before planning your next cookie binge. Worth noting: No matter how early in the day they open, they vow to keep serving until the wee hours of the morning, with both pickup and delivery hours until 3 a.m. daily.

Insomnia, which has corporate offices based in New York and Philadelphia, is one of two chains that have set up in the St. Louis area. Hot Box Cookies, which was founded in Columbia, Missouri, boasts locations in the Central West End and Clayton, as well as Lawrence, Kansas.

Editor's note: We changed this post after publication to reflect the updated hours on Insomnia's website.
