Opened by British ex-pats to help rekindle the afternoon tea, the London Tea Room proudly displays its large variety of teas behind the counter. Guests can choose a pot for one (two cups) or a pot for two (four cups) and select from oolongs, ceylon, English breakfast and some of the tea room's own blend, including the Naughty Vicar (black tea with hints of black currant and vanilla). For those not ready to cross the pond, order Americanized, a.k.a. iced, tea. Afternoon tea requires reservations but comes with the traditional bells and whistles - one scone, two sandwiches, assorted small cakes and tea, of course. Other bites include scones, quiches and sandwiches. Teas can also be mail-ordered.
