A Lil' Acoustic Patriotism for Your Friday

It's sunny outside. It's 2 hours and 33 minutes until the Fourth of July weekend. You'd rather be outside, sittin' on a porch, doublefisting Budweiser and a popsicle. If you're like A to Z, installed in a cubicle and lit by romantic fluorescence as another gorgeous summer afternoon shimmers in the distance, then watch this video from locals Sailsbury right now.

It's almost as good as being there.

Local musical multitaskers Eric Lysaght (Superjam, Tiny Cows, Pay the Cobra) and Bryan Hoskins (The Incurables, Tripstar, Red Eyed Driver and L.O.V.E.) are Salisbury, and this is a rocking chair jam called "Missouri." The video comes from Thomas Crone, local journalist and Webster University professor, who's guiding his students through South City (aka the best place in the world) this summer, and they're blogging it all at The Southside of Luck. Check out their progress, find out more about Salisbury, and we promise not to tell your boss you're screwing off.
