The Billiken Club just announced its official spring 2011 lineup. Although some of these shows were unofficially announced several months ago -- C86 indie-poppers Dum Dum Girls, we're looking at you -- there are a few surprises. For many, the biggest booking is probably Akron/Family, the psych-rock-drenched experimental rock trio. (That band hasn't been to town since a Creepy Crawl show years ago.) Retribution Gospel Choir is returning to St. Louis with indie-folkers Peter Wolf Crier, while hotly tipped indie rockers Oberhofer are making their local debut. The full line-up's below. As always, these shows are free, with doors at 8 p.m. and the show at 9 p.m.
