This one goes out the laaadiiies: Sick of "ladies nights" that are orchestrated so smarmy scumbags can liquor you up and try to touch your ladyparts? Yeah, us too. So on Friday, March 10, at 7 p.m., celebrate Women's History Month at The Ground Floor (215 East Main Street, Belleville, Illinois; 618-277-1026). Enjoy a clothing exchange (bring your gently used threads), massage sessions, tarot readings, live dance by Bench Press Burlesque and music a-plenty by lovely local lasses.

Sergeant Pizz-epper: The Beatles were renowned for breaking musical boundaries — and had they lasted into the '90s, Beat Happenings suspects they surely would have pioneered everything from screamo to crunk. Giving a glimpse of that musical unknown is Beatles Beyond Boundaries featuring Peter Mayer. On Saturday, March 11, at 8 p.m., a lineup of Nashville and St. Louis musicians hit the Roberts Orpheum Theatre (416 North Ninth Street; 314-241-1888) to showcase Beatles arrangements that span from classical to jazz to pop-rock and more. Tickets range from $20 to $40.

Say what?: SoTheySay take a breather from their impending national stardom for a hometown CD release party at Mississippi Nights (914 North First Street; 314-421-3853) on Friday, March 10, at 8 p.m. Openers include Allister, June, October Fall, Behind the Blindfold and Fairwell; tickets are $10. Meanwhile, Tobi Kai and the Strays plant their own soon-to-be-huge paws in STS's footprints with another M-Nights CD release party on Saturday, March 11, at 8 p.m. alongside One Lone Car, The Bureau and Grant Essig. Tix are a mere $7.

Erin Go Bragh: On Sunday, March 12, at 3 p.m., the Focal Point (2720 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood; 314-781-4200) is holding a "Kitchen Session" fundraiser for this year's Irish music celebration, the TIONOL (which takes place on March 31 through April 2). The spirited Focal Point concert includes the Saint Louis Irish Session Players, Tommy Martin and Andrew O'Brien, among others. Ten dollars gains you admittance.
