Naughty & Nice costume ball

Jingle Bell Rock: With the onslaught of Christmas events, Beat Happenings is taking it upon herself to reconfigure and give you more stuffing for your stocking. And although Santa didn't get any of your letters, some other kindly folks are stepping up to the giving plate....Robot Punch Productions got you a nice gift of three Christmas shows, which include bands such as Cities Ablaze, Linda's Dead, the Shroud, Fairwell and Autumn Bleeds Red (Monday through Wednesday December 26 through 28, 7 p.m.) wrapped in a shiny Creepy Crawl bow (412 North Tucker; 314-621-933) .... Your mom is urging you to remember nutrition in spite of all of the ham and eggnog you'll eat, so she'll be pleased to send you off to the Former Schwag & Vitamen A Holiday Bash at Magee's (4500 Clayton; 314-535-8061) to get healthy (Friday, December 23, 8 p.m.) .... Club Ten14 (1014 Locust Street; 314-436-8890) was feeling extra generous this year: Their Naughty & Nice costume ball not only encourages your hot girlfriend to dress like Santa's slut in the dead of winter, but also offers $500 apiece for the nicest and naughtiest costumes (Friday, December 23, 8 p.m.) And if she needs a little encouragement, there are open bar premiums from $20 to $30 .... Brandt's is one of those "thoughtful" gift-givers: They want you to relax with a hot toddy and some nice jazz, so they've brought Erin Bode back to their venue (6525 Delmar Boulevard, 314-727-3663) for the holidays (Friday, December 23, 8 and 10 p.m.) .... The Reunion Fairy has blessed you with a Christmas miracle: the re-banding of your favorite local boys, the '90s hair band KingoftheHill at the Pageant (6161 Delmar Boulevard; 314-726-6161). Just follow the twinkling lights (Wednesday, December 28, 8 p.m.).
