Stop me if you've heard this one: A Morocco-via-U.S. musician and a St. Louis rocker come together to promote cross-cultural awareness. The former says, "Hey, I'm a master of Moroccan devotional music performed for healing ceremonies." The latter says, "Hey, I'm just here to show that Hebrew can still rock!" And the joke is on anybody who doesn't go to the Faces of Love Concert on Thursday, October 12, at 8 p.m. at the Sheldon Concert Hall (3648 Washington Boulevard; 314-533-9900; www.sheldonconcerthall.org). This year's concert features Hassan Hakmoun, who will share the stage with the area's own Rick Recht. Tickets are $27 to $47.
