Beirut came to the Pageant to string lights from the ceiling and play lots of horns. And, by all accounts, to deliver a truly singular performance. After four years without a new full-length, the Sante Fe band returned with this year's The Rip Tide proved its particular blend of Eastern-Bloc-flavored influence stew hasn't lost its kick.
