My eyes do not deceive me: Canadian heartthrob Bryan Adams will be performing an acoustic set at the Sheldon on Monday, August 4. Tix are $59.75 and go on sale this weekend.

I file Mr. Adams along with John Mellencamp in '80s icons I totally love. Also, fun facts: The beginning of Adams' "Run to You" reminds me of Echo & the Bunnymen's "Do It Clean," while OK Go's "Here It Goes Again" seems to nick the beginning of this tune:
