Cake, My Chemical Romance Among the Headliners of the Point's 2010 Ho Ho Shows

After taking a break from the Pageant for a year, the Point (105.7 FM) is once again bringing its annual Ho Ho Shows to the venue in December. This year, the station is hosting five different concerts, culminating in a show with My Chemical Romance and Middle Class Rut (Tuesday, December 14) and another with Cake (Wednesday, December 15). Full line-up for all the shows, along with ticket prices, after the jump; all dates are on sale Friday at 5 p.m.

Cake has a new song, "Sick of You," which comes from a new album, Showroom of Compassion, which is due January 11, 2011. It's full of the band's droll delivery, spoken-shout slogans, horns and a stomping classic-rock foundation. Listen:

After months of delays, MCR is releasing its new album, Danger Days: True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, on November 22. The first single, "Na Na Na" is a glam grenade vibrating with energy and danger; it also has the immortal lyric, "Shut up and let me see your jazz hands." The video is a slick mini-movie with lasers, comic-punk creatures and much more; see it below.
