Athens, Georgia's Drive-By Truckers will bring its big-ass Southern Rock to the Pageant on October 28th. Tickets start at $22 and go on sale August 5th at 5 p.m.

The Truckers released ninth album Go-Go Boots earlier this year. The band's hit a sort of consistent hum of late -- this one's great but so were the ones before it, and in much the same way. There is a little more strum and twang this go-around, but you know what you're getting with these dudes -- Jason Isbell's departure is fully in the rearview at this point. Not that we're complaining; their last show at the Pageant in October was fantastic.

Go-Go Boots wasn't out at the time, obviously -- this show should be fairly different from that one.
