Galactic, as fine a Mardi Gras ambassador as New Orleans has, will make a stop at the Pageant (6161 Delmar Boulevard, 314-726-6161) on Wednesday, March 14th. Tickets are $25 and go on sale December 9 at 5 p.m.
Galactic is touring in support of Carnivale Electricos -- the band's attempt to capture the celebration it was born from. Guests on the record include Cyril and Ivan Neville, Mystikal, Mannie Fresh, Moyseis Marques, Casa Samba and the KIPP Renaissance High School Marching Band.
The Pageant show will feature Corey Glover of Living Colour and Corey Henry of the Rebirth Brass Band, and Orgone (which made a recent stop at Old Rock House) will open.
