Steddy P says: "I really feel like this was the best situation I've been in while recording an album. Everyone covered their bases -- dope engineer, dope beats, dope DJ. I just had to come with concepts and rhymes. Mr. Bounce was even nice enough to let me touch some of the sequencing privileges on the beats; this allowed me to really make the music truly mine.
Everyone involved was very professional and hopped on the concept and vision of the album. We all were trying to make the best music possible and cover different avenues, stylistically and sonically. We had a lot of the graphic visuals for the album before we really began recording, so that helped for direction. Despite what the press will say, everyone involved feels the same way I do about the album and we are very proud of our work from Style Like Mind."
