Lindy Hop St. Louis is a locally based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on preserving jazz and swing-dance traditions both here in St. Louis and nationwide. The group, founded in 2011 by Nick Aperson, Christian Frommelt and Jenny Shirar, teaches dance lessons and hosts events around the city, including ones at the Grandel Theatre and the Mahler Ballroom. The organization is named after a popular form of American dance birthed in 1920s Harlem, which centered around the jazz scene.

RFT Music sent videographer Nicola Muscroft to one of the group's recent events and spoke with some of the players about the project. For more information on Lindy Hop St. Louis, visit their official website and watch their Facebook page for frequent updates.
