Set the Wayback Machine for 1992 at the local rock & roll reunion featuring Sun Sawed in 1/2 and Give Her a Lizard. Both bands flourished during the mid-'90s alternative-rock boom: Sun Sawed in 1/2 veered more towards psychedelia, while Give Her a Lizard stuck with jangly, melodic, harmony-laden tunes. The latter was also a launching pad for some of this city's best-loved pop groups; members of Bunnygrunt, Prune and Lydia's Trumpet all cut their teeth with the band.
