Ruka gets his grill on

No shortage of concerts tonight, especially on the national tip (Hem! Veruca Salt!). But anyone in the mood for something a little different to kick the week off right should come to Evening Shade (12324 Bellefontaine Road, north St. Louis County; 314-438-9700) for a fashion show hosted by Ruka Puff's I'm a Starr clothing company -- a line Puff describes as "sophisticated with a splash of hood. It's for everybody, cause everybody's a star."

Ruka will perform, as will Kay-L of "Point ï¿½Em Out" and Pi Productions fame. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. -Annie Zaleski
