If you're like me, you've probably been disappointed by Moby's output over the last few years. Last year's Wait for Me, while a pleasant collection of placid electro, didn't have the humanity -- or staying power -- of stuff such as 1995's Everything is Wrong. (The Bowie-isms of 2005's Hotel, though, are super underrated.) However, I was pleased to read in the New York Times that he had remixed what's arguably the best Simpsons jingle ever: The "Mr. Plow" theme. Go on, you know it -- even if you've just heard it once. In honor of the Simpsons' twentieth anniversary(!!) and a documentary which aired last night, Moby remixed the theme in a variety of styles: bossanova, electro, lounge, psychedelic, hip-hop and punk. Like the NY Times said, the punk rock mix is best. (Perhaps because Moby's roots are in Connecticut's hardcore scene.) View the punk one below -- and the equally awesome hip-hop remix after the jump.
